Ruth E. EberhartNovember 21, 1921 - January 12, 2012 Age 90
Ruth passed from the loving arms of her family in Ramsey, MN. She formerly lived in Columbia Heights and Saint Paul. Ruth was born in Saint Paul on November 21, 1921 to Adolph Rosenwinkel and Lydia (Mueller) Rosenwinkel, and attended St. Stephanus Lutheran School and Central and Mechanic Arts High Schools. Ruth was a lifelong lover of family, friends, music and nature. She retired from the US Postal Service, and in retirement became an excellent watercolor painter. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert Eberhart, first husband George Wesenberg, brothers Wilbur and Eugene Rosenwinkel, daughter Sandra Proetz, daughter Rachel Beining and her husband August, son-in-law Paul Bergan, grandson Mark Eberhart, and beloved aunts and uncles. She is survived by brother Howard Rosenwinkel and his wife Dorothy, brother Earl Rosenwinkel of Duluth, sister-in-law June Rosenwinkel of CA, son-in-law Clifford Proetz of Alaska, son Paul Eberhart of Bloomington, daughter Lois Eberhart of Minneapolis, daughter Carol Hagemeier and her husband Ralph of FL, grandchildren and spouses Nathan Proetz of Alaska, Joy and Wayne Sabin of Ramsey, David and Julie Eberhart of Rochester, Karl Eberhart of Saint Paul, Karen and Gavin Russell of CA, Grant and Suzie Beining of CA, David and Carol Hagemeier of WI, Ann and Don White of FL and Amy Hagemeier of CT, eighteen great-grandchildren, and beloved nieces and nephews. The family is thankful to hospice staff, the staff of Crest View Lutheran Home and Westwood Ridge, and Dr. Alec Dunkel for their abundant help and support. Funeral InformationA Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at ST. JAMES EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 460 West Annapolis Street @ South Cherokee Avenue in West St. Paul with a Gathering 1 hour prior to the Service at the church.
